Missing teen found

Cleveland, Ohio April 7, 2026 Other
NEW

My teen was missing for a couple of days, and it was a very devastating time for our family.

Once Officer Lakisha Harris received the information, she acted with urgency as if it were her own child. She quickly spread the word throughout the community to raise awareness.

Within hours of her efforts, my teen was safely back home. My family and I are incredibly grateful for her kindness, concern, and support during such a difficult moment.

Thank you to Officer Harris and the 4th District — we will always remember what you did for us.

Keeping Clark Avenue Safer

Cleveland, Ohio March 2026 Traffic Enforcement

My name is Susy Díaz, and I live in the Clark Avenue neighborhood here in Cleveland. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed a strong police presence focused on traffic enforcement, and I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation.

Officer Scott Dinehart, with the Cleveland Division of Police, has been working in our area addressing speeding and helping improve safety along Clark Avenue. His presence has made a real difference. Traffic has slowed down, and it feels safer for families, kids, and everyone who lives or walks through the neighborhood.

What really stands out to me is how Officer Dinehart interacts with people. He is professional, kind, and fair with everyone he speaks to. You can tell he’s not just there to enforce the law, but also to help the community and make sure people understand why safety matters.

As a resident, I truly appreciate the time and effort being put into keeping our neighborhood safe. It does not go unnoticed. These kinds of actions help build trust and make a positive impact on our community.

I just want to say thank you to Officer Dinehart and everyone involved in these efforts on Clark Avenue.

Officer helped me during a dangerous highway stall

Cleveland, Ohio March 2026 Emergency Assistance

A Cleveland resident shared a powerful experience after their car stalled on I-480 during heavy traffic. With low fuel and limited visibility on a dangerous curve, the situation quickly became unsafe.

A Cleveland police officer responded quickly, stepping into a high-risk situation to help protect the driver and prevent a potential accident. Two Ohio Department of Transportation workers also assisted by providing fuel.

The resident expressed deep appreciation for everyone involved, believing their actions helped prevent what could have been a serious multi-vehicle incident.
